Grant a complimentary membership
Give a member a free membership period without charging them, for example a staff comp, an influencer deal, or goodwill. Complimentary grants skip invoicing, payment, VAT, revenue, and accounting.
You need the owner, admin, or manager role, with access to the member's location.
Grant a complimentary membership
Go to Guests -> All guests and open the member.
On the Products card, click Add.
In Grant complimentary products, stay on the Membership tab.
Choose the plan under Select a membership.
Pick a Location if you are asked, choose a Reason, and add a Note (required).
Click Grant complimentary membership.
The membership period starts immediately. Any credits included in the plan are added as operational credits only - there is no invoice, payment, or accounting entry.
Good to know
The grant does not create an invoice, charge, or receipt, and it is deliberately kept out of accounting.
The member is not notified. Tell them yourself if you want them to know.

The granted membership appears on the member's own profile, in the Products card.
Troubleshooting
There is no Add button on the Products card. Your studio has no products that can be granted; create a membership first.
The Membership tab is greyed out. You have no membership products to grant.
The Grant button stays disabled. A note is required - add one, and make sure a membership is selected.
You are a staff or teacher user and cannot grant. Complimentary grants need an owner, admin, or manager.
