Create a private-link event
A private-link event is hidden from your public schedule. It does not appear when customers browse your classes; only people you send the private link to can see it and buy a ticket. Use this for invite-only workshops, member-only sessions, or anything you do not want listed publicly.
You need the owner, manager, or staff role. Staff can create the event but cannot publish it.
Before you start
Have at least one location and one room/resource set up. Room is required.
For a paid event, have your tax slots configured.
Steps
In the sidebar, go to Schedule -> Events.
Click Create event.
Choose Private link and click Next.
Under When & where, set the Location, Date, Start and End time, and Room/resource.
Under Details, enter a Title. Optionally set Capacity (leave empty to use the room's capacity), assign a staff owner, and add a description or internal note.
Under Payment, set the Ticket price and Tax slot if the event is paid. Leave the price empty to make it free.
Click Create draft.
What happens
The event is saved as a draft and stays hidden from the public schedule. When you publish the schedule week, Ferb generates the private booking link. Share that link with the people you want to attend - anyone with it can book, up to the capacity.
To get the link, publish the event, then open it from Schedule -> Events.
Notes
The event never shows on your public schedule, published or not - that is the point of this type.
An event is a single occurrence. Create one event per date if it runs more than once.
Troubleshooting
There is no private link yet. The link is generated on publish; publish the schedule week first (owner or manager).
You cannot publish. Only owners and managers can publish; ask one to publish your draft.
Attendees cannot book. Check that the event is published and has capacity left, and that you shared the current link.
