Pause, cancel, or adjust a membership
From a member's profile you can schedule their membership to end. Ferb keeps the membership active until the end of the paid period, then stops future renewals. Pausing and switching plans are not available from the dashboard today; see below for what to do instead.
Schedule a membership to end
Go to Guests -> All guests and open the member.
In the Products card, find their active membership.
Click End at renewal date.
The membership stays active until its end date, then stops renewing. The row then shows Expires with the date. Any credits included in the plan stay usable until that date.
You need the owner or manager role, and access to the location where the membership was bought.
What "End at renewal date" does
Stops future renewals. The member is not charged again after the end date.
Keeps access and plan credits until the end of the paid period. If the plan has a binding or notice period, Ferb honors it, so the end date can be later than the next renewal.
Does not refund anything. Cancelling and refunding are separate; see Refund a sale.
Change a member to a different plan
There is no "change plan" action. To move a member to a different membership, schedule the current one to end (or cancel and refund it), then sell them the new membership.
Pausing
Pausing a member's membership is not available from the dashboard today. If a member needs a break, the practical options are to end the membership and sell it again later, or contact Ferb support.
Troubleshooting
There is no End at renewal date button. The membership is already scheduled to end (the row shows Expires with a date), or it is not in an active state.
The end date is later than the next renewal. The plan has a binding or notice period, which Ferb applies when setting the end date. This is expected.
A past-due membership needs review. If a member owes money and their notice period runs past the unpaid period, Ferb routes the cancellation to manual review for your accountant.
