Issue complimentary credits
Give a member free credits (a unit pack) without charging them, for example as goodwill or a promotion. Complimentary grants skip invoicing, payment, VAT, and accounting.
You need the owner, admin, or manager role, with access to the member's location.
Grant complimentary credits
Go to Guests -> All guests and open the member.
On the Products card, click Add.
In Grant complimentary products, open the Unit pack tab.
Choose the pack under Select a unit pack.
Pick a Location if you are asked, choose a Reason, and add a Note (required).
Click Grant complimentary unit pack.
The credits are added to the member's balance immediately. They expire according to the pack's own validity period, if it has one.
Good to know
The grant does not create an invoice, charge, or receipt, and it is deliberately kept out of accounting.
The member is not notified. Tell them yourself if you want them to know.
You can also grant a complimentary Membership from the same dialog, using the Membership tab.
Every complimentary grant is logged under Settings -> Complimentary grants for your records.
Troubleshooting
There is no Add button on the Products card. Your studio has no products that can be granted; create a credit pack or membership first.
The Unit pack tab is greyed out. You have no credit-pack products to grant.
You are a staff or teacher user and cannot grant. Complimentary grants need an owner, admin, or manager.
The note or reason is missing. Both are required.
