Set up locations
A location is a place where your classes and appointments happen. Add one location for each studio address. Rooms are set up inside each location.
You need the owner or manager role. Managers can only edit the locations they manage.
Add a location
Go to Settings -> Locations.
Click Add location.
Enter a Name (for example, "Main Studio"). Ferb fills in a URL Slug from the name; adjust it if you like.
Optionally add the Address.
Set Timezone, Time format, and Currency if they differ from your studio defaults. Leave them as "Brand default" to inherit.
Choose the Legal entity this location bills under, if you have set one up.
Click Save.
If you have appointment types or open access set up, Ferb may ask which of them to enable at this location.
Why the legal entity matters
The legal entity you pick decides which Stripe account payments go to and how the location's sales are accounted for. Connect Stripe for that legal entity so the location can take payments. See Connect Stripe.
Edit a location
Open a location to change its details, set its Opening hours, add date overrides, and manage its Rooms. See Set up rooms and resources.
Good to know
The slug must be unique in your studio and can use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Timezone, time format, and currency left as "Brand default" follow your company settings.
There is no delete button for a location, because removing one affects bookings, schedules, and payouts. To archive a location, contact Ferb support.
Troubleshooting
"Name and slug are required." Fill in both before saving.
The slug is already in use. Another location uses that slug; pick a different one.
The Legal entity dropdown is missing. You have no legal entity yet; create one first.
You cannot edit a location. Managers can only edit locations they are assigned to; ask an owner.
