Connect Stripe
Ferb uses Stripe to take card payments and pay out to your bank. You connect Stripe once per legal entity, on the Payments settings page. You enter your business, identity, and bank details on Stripe's secure site, not in Ferb.
You need the owner or admin role. Add a legal entity first, because Stripe connects to a legal entity.
Connect Stripe
Go to Settings -> Payments.
Find the legal entity you want to connect and click Connect Stripe.
You are taken to Stripe to set up your account. Complete Stripe's onboarding form there.
When you finish, Stripe returns you to the Payments page and Ferb updates the status automatically.
If you need to finish later, the button reads Complete Setup or Continue Setup. Click it to return to Stripe where you left off.
What Stripe will ask you for
Stripe verifies your business before you can take payments. Have these ready, as Stripe (not Ferb) will ask for them:
Your legal name, date of birth, personal address, phone number, and an ID number
Business information and business profile
A bank account for payouts
Agreement to Stripe's terms
When Stripe is ready
The card shows a progress line: Created -> Details -> Verified -> Live. Your studio can take payments only when the status is Live, which needs both charges and payouts enabled by Stripe.
Once live, the card shows a Stripe Dashboard button (to manage your account on Stripe) and a Refresh button (to re-check the status).
Status meanings
Not connected - you have not started.
Pending or Under Review - Stripe is reviewing your details, usually 1-2 business days. Then click Refresh.
Action Needed or Fix Issues - Stripe needs more information. The card names what is missing; click Fix Issues to return to Stripe and provide it.
Live - ready to take payments.
Rejected - Stripe declined the account. This cannot be fixed in Ferb; contact Stripe or Ferb support.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens, or "Failed to start Stripe onboarding". Try again; if it keeps failing, contact Ferb support.
"No legal entities yet." Add a legal entity under Settings first, then connect Stripe to it.
The status still looks old after you finished on Stripe. Click Refresh to re-pull it from Stripe.
You cannot see the connect button. Connecting Stripe needs the owner or admin role.
