Verify sender email and DNS
Before Ferb can send emails from your own address, you verify that you own the domain by adding a few DNS records and confirming with your email provider. Until everything is verified, Ferb keeps sending from the default Ferb address so your emails still go out.
You need the owner role.
Verify your sender
Go to Settings -> Email.
In the Sender identity card, set your sender email and save it (see Configure transactional emails).
Confirm the verification email your provider sends. If you did not get it, click Resend verification.
Add the records shown under Required DNS records with whoever manages your domain's DNS. Copy each Host and Value from the table.
Click Check connection to re-check. Each record shows Verified, Missing, Invalid, or Check failed.
Your sender shows Verified once all of these pass:
your provider's sender confirmation, and
the SPF, DKIM, Return-Path, and DMARC DNS records.
Ferb shows on-page SPF and DMARC guidance to help you get those two right.
Good to know
Until your sender is fully verified, the badge shows Pending verification and Ferb sends from its default address.
If you change your sender email later, it must be verified again.
Troubleshooting
Stuck on Pending verification. One of the checks is still failing; click Check connection and read each record's status and the SPF and DMARC guidance.
A record shows Check failed. The DNS lookup could not resolve yet; DNS changes take time, so try again later.
Multiple SPF records. DNS allows only one; merge them into a single record that includes Ferb's mail provider.
You cannot see these settings. Verifying the sender needs the owner role.
