Create day passes
A day pass gives someone timed entry to a drop-in open-access service, like a sauna or open gym, without a membership. In the dashboard these are labelled Access Passes.
You need the owner or manager role.
Create the day pass
1. Go to Products -> Access Passes and click Create access pass.
2. Fill in the details:
- Name and an optional Description.
- Price.
3. Set the Access validity:
- Per day - valid for the whole day.
- Timed interval - valid for a set number of minutes; enter the Duration minutes.
4. Set the Access window:
- All open hours - usable any time you are open.
- Custom windows - specific days and times, entered as JSON.
5. Under Access rules, add exactly one open-access service the pass grants entry to.
6. In the side panel, set the Location scope and the Tax (legal entity and tax slot).
7. Click Create access pass.
A new access pass is saved as a draft; publish it from the Access Passes list.
How this differs from a bundle
A day pass grants timed physical entry to one open-access service. A bundle grants a number of credits that members spend on class or appointment bookings.
Troubleshooting
"Select exactly one open access service." A day pass must grant exactly one open-access service; add one in Access rules. Set up an open-access service first if you have none.
"Timed access passes require a duration." Enter a Duration when Validity is Timed interval.
"Custom windows must be valid JSON." Fix the format of the custom windows, or use All open hours.
Saving fails asking for a legal entity or tax slot. Add them under Settings first.
